In front of an energetic crowd at Matthew Knight Arena, the Ducks showcased their offensive capabilities by maintaining a consistent field goal percentage of 46 percent throughout the game. Their prowess from the free-throw line was particularly notable as they converted 81 percent of their attempts into points. The team's aggressive playstyle was evident as they outscored the Trojans in fast break points by six.

The defensive efforts from both teams were on full display, but it was the Ducks who edged out with nine steals over their opponents' six. Despite being matched in total rebounds at 33 each, Oregon capitalized on turnovers, scoring 19 points off turnovers compared to USC's 15.

Oregon's ability to distribute the ball effectively resulted in twelve assists; however, it was their sharpshooting from beyond the arc that truly made a difference. They hit eight three-pointers at an impressive rate of 40 percent accuracy.

On individual performances, several players stood out for Oregon with significant contributions across various aspects of play. Their collective effort ensured that despite only one lead change and being tied once during playtime, they remained ahead when it mattered most.

As for USC Trojans' commendable performance cannot be overlooked despite falling short on this occasion. They managed to keep up with Oregon's pace for much of the game and even surpassed them in two-point field goal percentage by four percent. Their bench contributed significantly as well, adding fifteen second-chance points and displaying solid teamwork through twenty assists.

Looking forward to what lies ahead for Oregon fans: The next challenge will be against UCLA Bruins at Matthew Knight Arena on December 30th at 1:15 PM local time (Pacific Standard Time). This upcoming conference game will be broadcast nationally on CBS where fans can tune in to support their team as they continue their campaign through this season's schedule.
