The Ducks started strong with an impressive first half, putting up 34 points against the Golden Bears' 30. However, despite their early lead and a solid performance throughout the game, they couldn't maintain their momentum going into the second half. The Ducks added another 30 points to their tally but were outscored by the Golden Bears who put up 39 points after halftime.

Oregon's offensive efforts were led by their accuracy from the charity stripe where they excelled with an outstanding free throw percentage of 87 percent. They also demonstrated tenacity in defense with five blocks and three steals over the course of play. However, it was not enough to secure victory as they struggled from beyond the arc, converting only four out of eighteen attempts for a three-point shooting percentage of just 22 percent.

The Ducks showed dominance inside with 26 points coming from within the paint and managed to gather seven offensive rebounds contributing to seven second-chance points. Despite these efforts and maintaining control over turnovers with only nine compared to ten by their opponents, they fell short as their assists-turnover ratio stood at a lowly point five six.

On defense, Oregon pulled down an impressive total of thirty-five rebounds including twenty-six defensive boards which helped limit second-chance opportunities for California. Yet personal fouls proved costly for Oregon as they committed fourteen throughout the game which contributed to California's scoring opportunities.

The Golden Bears capitalized on these chances especially through field goals where they shot fifty percent on two-point attempts and finished overall with forty-one percent shooting accuracy from all field goal attempts. Their performance at free throw line was nearly flawless hitting ninety-one percent which played a critical role in sealing their win against Oregon.

Looking ahead for fans of The Oregon Ducks is another exciting matchup scheduled on February twenty-eight at eight PM Pacific Time when they will host state rivals Oregon State Beavers at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. This encounter can be caught live on Fox Sports one ensuring that supporters won't miss any action from this anticipated game.
