The game was a showcase of tactical execution and determination from both sides. The Oregon Ducks demonstrated their offensive capabilities by dominating points in the paint with 46 compared to the Buffaloes' 18. This inside presence was pivotal for the Ducks as they shot an impressive 59 percent from two-point range on 44 attempts. Their scoring was bolstered by converting free throws at a rate of 71 percent, making 17 out of 24 attempts.

Defensively, Oregon also made its mark with nine steals contributing significantly to their total points off turnovers which tallied up to an imposing figure of 23. This defensive pressure limited Colorado's opportunities and played a crucial role in setting up fast-break chances for Oregon who scored four fast break points.

On top of that, Oregon's ball movement resulted in them amassing fourteen assists over the course of the game. Their careful handling and distribution were reflected in their low turnover count; they only gave up possession three times throughout playtime.

The rebounding battle was closely contested; however, Oregon managed to secure thirty-one rebounds including eight offensive boards which led to ten second-chance points – another key factor that kept momentum on their side.

Colorado Buffaloes did not go down without showing their strengths as well. They excelled at free throw accuracy hitting an outstanding ninety-one percent from the line by sinking twenty-one out of twenty-three shots offered to them. Additionally, they managed sixteen assists and had more total rebounds than Oregon with thirty-four grabs off the glass including five offensive rebounds.

However, turnovers proved costly for Colorado as they lost possession thirteen times which directly impacted their ability to maintain rhythm against a relentless Ducks defense that seemed always ready to capitalize on any mistakes made by opponents.
