First Half

The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Ducks managed to secure an early lead of 2 points but were quickly overtaken by the Golden Gophers. By halftime, Oregon had accumulated only 17 points compared to Minnesota's 22. Despite Nate Bittle's efforts in defense with his notable blocks and rebounds, the Quack Attack couldn't capitalize on their opportunities.

Second Half

In the second half, Minnesota came out strong and dominated with a significant scoring run that left Oregon trailing behind. The Golden Gophers increased their offensive efficiency, shooting at a field goal percentage of 40 percent overall and converting crucial free throws at an impressive rate of 80 percent. Meanwhile, Efe Vatan tried to rally his team with key plays in both offense and defense but was unable to close the gap as Minny extended their lead further.

Final Quarter

As time wound down in Eugene, it became clear that Oregon struggled particularly from beyond the arc with only two successful three-point shots out of twenty attempts—a mere ten percent success rate—while also facing challenges under pressure from turnovers which resulted in lost possessions for them throughout this period.
