First Half

The first half saw the Oregon State Beavers establish an early lead, scoring 45 points against the Thunderbirds' 30. Stephen Olowoniyi was instrumental during this period, contributing significantly to both ends of the court. His defensive efforts were highlighted by multiple blocks that stifled Southern Utah's attempts to close the gap. The Beavs' field goal percentage stood at an impressive 52 percent, setting a solid foundation for their victory.

Second Half

In the second half, despite a stronger showing from Southern Utah with 40 points scored, OSU maintained control of the game. Johan Munch continued his strong performance from previous games by adding crucial rebounds and maintaining pressure on defense. The team's ability to convert free throws at a rate of 79 percent further cemented their advantage over Southern Utah.

Key Performances

Isaiah Sy's contribution cannot be overlooked as he added depth to Oregon State's offense while also playing an essential role in defense with his rebounding skills. Dez White also made significant contributions by scoring efficiently and providing key assists that kept OSU ahead throughout most parts of the game.

The Oregon State Beavers vs Southern Utah Thunderbirds final score reflected not just offensive strength but also strategic defensive plays that limited Southern Utah’s effectiveness in critical moments.

Looking ahead, fans can catch OSU in action again when they face Montana State Bobcats on December 13th at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. The game is scheduled for broadcast on ESPN+ at 5:00 PM EST.
