At the Bryce Jordan Center, home to the Penn State Nittany Lions, an attendance of 12,336 fans witnessed a game filled with lead changes and ties. The match was closely contested with times tied at three and lead changes occurring ten times throughout. Despite this back-and-forth battle, it was the visiting team that managed to secure victory.

The Nittany Lions started strong in the first half scoring 45 points but couldn't maintain their momentum into the second half where they added only 29 more points to their tally. On offense, they shot an impressive 54 percent from two-point range and made five three-pointers out of nineteen attempts for a less remarkable three-point percentage of just 26 percent. From the charity stripe, they managed to hit thirteen free throws out of eighteen attempts for a solid free throw percentage of approximately 72 percent.

Defensively speaking, Penn State showed prowess by accumulating nine steals and matching Minnesota's four blocks. They were also able to convert turnovers into points effectively as evidenced by their sixteen points off turnovers compared to Minnesota's eleven. However, personal fouls proved costly for them as they committed twenty throughout the game which may have contributed significantly to their defeat.

On Minnesota's side of things; shooting efficiency was key as they boasted an overall field goal percentage of approximately 54 percent which included making twenty-eight field goals on fifty-two attempts. Their performance from beyond the arc wasn't quite as effective though since they only converted four out of fourteen three-point shots resulting in roughly a twenty-nine percent success rate from downtown.

Minnesota excelled particularly well when it came down to free throws; sinking twenty-three out of twenty-six which gave them an enviable eighty-eight percent accuracy rate from there – this undoubtedly played a role in sealing their win over PSU.

Looking ahead after this tough loss for Penn State fans is another challenging matchup against Rutgers Scarlet Knights scheduled on January thirty-first at eight-thirty PM Eastern Time at Jersey Mike's Arena located in Piscataway NJ zip code:08854 USA where supporters can tune into BTN channel six hundred ten nationally broadcasted TV network for live coverage.
