In their last outing on March 14th, the Nittany Lions secured a hard-fought victory over the Wolverines with a final score of 66-57. This win was characterized by an impressive defensive display, as PSU managed to block five shots and steal the ball seven times. Their ability to convert from the free-throw line was also notable, hitting 79 percent of their attempts. However, they will need to address their field goal percentage which stood at just 38 percent.

The offensive prowess of PSU was on full display in their game against Maryland Terrapins on March 10th. Dominating with an 85-69 scoreline, they showcased efficient shooting from inside the arc with a two-point field goal percentage of 57 percent and an overall field goal percentage of 48 percent. Their ability to distribute the ball resulted in 18 assists, while also capitalizing on second-chance points where they outscored Maryland by ten points.

However, it's not all smooth sailing for PSU as evidenced by their performance against Minnesota Golden Gophers on March 2nd where they fell short by five points in a close contest that ended at 70-75. Despite showcasing strong three-point shooting (48 percent), turnovers were a significant issue with PSU giving up possession seventeen times which translated into fifteen points for Minnesota.

The upcoming game against Indiana presents both challenges and opportunities for Penn State Nittany Lions. They must leverage their strengths such as free throw accuracy and capitalize on fast break opportunities while tightening up defensively to reduce turnovers.

Indiana Hoosiers will not make it easy; known for being formidable opponents especially when playing at home in Minneapolis. The Hoosiers' balanced attack and solid defense will test every aspect of PSU's game plan.

Looking ahead, fans can expect Penn State Nittany Lions to come out focused and ready to execute efficiently on both ends of the court if they hope to secure another victory away from home soil.

Mark your calendars for March 15th when these two teams clash under the bright lights of Target Center at Minneapolis starting at 8:00 PM Central Time (9:00 PM Eastern).
