The Pittsburgh Panthers showcased a solid performance at Hank McCamish Pavilion, leading by four points at halftime and maintaining their advantage throughout the second half. The team's offensive efforts were led by their accuracy from the free-throw line, where they converted 85 percent of their attempts into points. Additionally, they capitalized on fast-break opportunities to add 19 points to their tally.

Defensively, the Panthers demonstrated resilience with 26 defensive rebounds and six steals contributing to their robust defense. Their ability to block shots was evident as they registered four blocks against the Yellow Jackets' attempts. Furthermore, Pittsburgh's control over turnovers was notable; they committed only three turnovers during the entire game.

On offense, Pittsburgh's field goal percentage stood at 43 percent with successful execution on half of their two-point attempts. From beyond the arc, they managed to sink six three-pointers out of twenty attempted. The team also displayed efficiency in ball distribution despite recording only five assists; this can be attributed to careful possession and shot selection.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets put up a valiant fight but struggled with shooting accuracy throughout the game. Their field goal percentage was lower than that of Pittsburgh at 36 percent and even more so within two-point range where it dropped to just above 32 percent. However, from three-point territory, Georgia Tech found some success hitting twelve out of twenty-nine shots for a respectable 41 percent conversion rate.

Despite having more total rebounds than Pittsburgh at forty compared to thirty-five for the Panthers, Georgia Tech could not capitalize on these additional opportunities as effectively as needed. They also faced challenges in ball handling which resulted in ten turnovers against them.

Looking ahead for fans of The Pittsburgh Panthers: The next challenge awaits as they are set to face off against Louisville Cardinals at KFC Yum! Center located in Louisville on January 19th at an Eastern Time zone equivalent hour (7 PM). This upcoming game will be broadcasted nationally on ACC Network channel six hundred twelve for those wishing to follow along live from home or elsewhere.
