The Boilermakers' triumph was highlighted by several standout performances. Braden Smith led his team with an impressive 24 points, complemented by 10 assists and seven rebounds. His efficiency from the field was notable at 59 percent shooting, including a perfect free throw percentage. Smith's ability to orchestrate plays while maintaining defensive pressure contributed significantly to his team's success.


Fletcher Loyer also made substantial contributions with 18 points and three rebounds. His shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was pivotal in extending the lead against the Wolverines. Trey Kaufman-Renn added another layer of offense for Purdue with 15 points and three assists.
