Boilermakers' Key Performances


The Purdue Boilermakers displayed remarkable teamwork and individual performances throughout the game. Trey Kaufman-Renn led the scoring for Purdue with an impressive 30 points, alongside grabbing seven rebounds. His performance was pivotal in securing this win for his team. Braden Smith also made significant contributions with 12 points and an outstanding nine assists, demonstrating his vision and playmaking abilities on court.


Camden Heide's presence was strongly felt under both baskets as he secured 11 rebounds and added nine points to Purdue's tally. Fletcher Loyer’s sharpshooting skills were on display as well; he scored 14 points with a notable three-point shooting percentage of 43 percent.

The USC Trojans showed tenacity, leading by as much as ten points during the game. Despite these efforts, turnovers proved costly for USC as they gave away possession ten times which translated into critical points off turnovers for Purdue. The Trojans’ bench contributed significantly with 14 bench points but it wasn't enough to secure a victory against a determined Purdue side.
