Can the Rice Owls Bounce Back After a Nail-Biter at Jerabeck?

The Rice Owls' recent face-off against the Roadrunners ended in a heart-pounding overtime, with the final scoreboard reading 89-82. The Owls now stand with an even record, while their opponents have added another victory to their tally.

However, turnovers proved costly for both sides; although less so for Rice who turned over possession twelve times compared to UTSA's seventeen turnovers which resulted in sixteen points for Rice off those turnovers.


On defense, steals were aplenty as well; seven for Rice against UTSA's ten steals. Both teams managed only one block each throughout this tightly contested match-up which saw eight ties and nine lead changes indicating how closely matched these conference rivals were on this occasion.
