First Half

The first half saw the Scarlet Knights take an early lead, thanks to their aggressive play and effective bench contributions. Dylan Grant was instrumental, scoring 14 points and grabbing 2 rebounds. The team capitalized on second-chance opportunities with 18 points, showcasing their tenacity on the offensive boards. However, despite leading by as much as 15 points during this period, they struggled to maintain momentum as Ohio State closed in with a strong finish.

The Scarlet Knights' shooting percentage dropped to just over 42 percent from field goals compared to Ohio State's efficient shooting at over 52 percent. Kaden Powers added valuable support off the bench with his defensive efforts but was unable to stem the tide of Ohio State's scoring run.
