Sam Houston State Bearkats VS Dallas Crusaders

In front of a home crowd at Bernard Johnson Coliseum, the Sam Houston State Bearkats showcased their basketball skills against the visiting Paul Quinn College Tigers. The Bearkats started strong, leading the first half with 41 points compared to the Tigers' 25. They continued their momentum into the second half, adding another 37 points to seal their victory.

The Bearkats excelled in various aspects of the game. They outrebounded the Tigers by a significant margin, pulling down 50 rebounds to their opponent's 34. This included an impressive number of offensive rebounds for the home team, which stood at 18 compared to just eight for the visitors. Such rebounding tenacity provided them with numerous second-chance opportunities that resulted in 23 additional points.

Offensively, Sam Houston State was led by sharpshooting from beyond the arc and accuracy from free-throw line; they sank ten three-pointers and achieved an outstanding free throw percentage of nearly ninety percent. Their field goal percentage rounded off at thirty-seven percent from seventy attempts.

Defensively, they were just as formidable; recording ten steals and one block while forcing eighteen turnovers from Paul Quinn College players which translated into twenty-nine points off turnovers for themselves – showcasing a relentless defensive effort that kept pressure on their opponents throughout.

The visiting Tigers fought valiantly but struggled to keep pace with Sam Houston State's intensity on both ends of court. Despite shooting forty-eight percent from two-point range and forty percent overall field goal percentage, they could not overcome turnover issues or match up against superior rebounding force exhibited by home team.

Paul Quinn College did have moments where they shined – particularly in scoring sixteen points off turnovers and managing nine steals themselves – but it wasn't enough to challenge dominance displayed by Bearkats on this occasion.

Looking ahead after this commanding performance at home court, fans can anticipate next action-packed game when Sam Houston State travels to face Arizona State Sun Devils at Desert Financial Arena in Tempe on November 30th at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). This matchup will be broadcasted live on Pac-12 Network for fans eager to follow along as season progresses.
