Saint Katherine Firebirds VS San Diego State Aztecs

The San Diego State Aztecs showcased their offensive efficiency by shooting 50 percent from the field and an outstanding 61 percent on two-point attempts. Their defense was equally formidable, blocking six shots and stealing the ball five times from their opponents. The team's effort on both ends of the floor was evident as they outrebounded the Paladins with a total of 41 rebounds—29 defensive and eight offensive.

On offense, San Diego State's players distributed well among themselves with a total of 17 assists to only ten turnovers, reflecting good ball movement and decision-making. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring 18 points following offensive rebounds.

The Furman Paladins struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. They shot just 32 percent from field goal range and were even less effective from beyond the arc at only 23 percent. Despite converting free throws at a high rate of approximately 78 percent, it wasn't enough to challenge their opponents' lead.

The Aztecs' points in paint totaled an impressive number as they consistently found ways to score close to the basket against Furman's defense which managed three blocks for this contest. Furthermore, San Diego State made sure that any mistakes by Furman were punished; they scored eleven points off turnovers while limiting their own turnovers significantly.

As fans look ahead, they can anticipate another exciting matchup when San Diego State takes on Alabama Crimson Tide at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville on March 24th at around half past six in Eastern Time Zone evening hours. This upcoming game will be broadcast nationally on TBS channel number two hundred forty-seven for those who wish to follow along live.
