The game took place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and showcased some impressive statistics from both sides. The San Jose State team managed to convert 56 percent of their two-point attempts and excelled particularly in scoring within the paint with a total of 34 points coming from that area. Their free throw accuracy was notable as well, making seven out of eight attempts which translates to an impressive 88 percent success rate.

Despite these strong offensive numbers, it was on defense where they struggled somewhat; they did not record any blocks throughout the game and had four shots blocked by their opponents. However, they were able to gather a total of 29 rebounds – six offensive and twenty-one defensive – while also managing four steals.

On offense, assists played a significant role for San Jose State with thirteen assists contributing to their overall score tally. They attempted twenty-one three-pointers but only succeeded five times resulting in a three-point shooting percentage of just 24 percent which might have been one area where improvement could have helped them close down on their opponent's lead.

The Colorado State Rams showed why they were formidable opponents by maintaining higher efficiency across various aspects of play. They boasted an assist-to-turnover ratio of approximately three compared to San Jose's ratio which was slightly below two. Additionally, Colorado State capitalized on fast break opportunities scoring ten fast break points against just one from San Jose.

Furthermore, Colorado State demonstrated superior rebounding capabilities securing thirty-two rebounds including six offensive ones similar to what San Jose managed but with more defensive rebounds at twenty-three compared to twenty-one by San Jose.

As fans look forward toward future games for both teams it is clear that there are areas where each can improve upon as well as strengths they can continue leveraging moving forward into the season.

San Jose will be looking ahead now as fans anticipate their next performance hoping for better outcomes after this hard-fought battle against Colorado State Rams at Thomas & Mack Center.
