The Gamecocks' performance was nothing short of dominant as they took control from the start and never looked back. With an effective field goal percentage of 50, they outshot the Revolutionaries who managed a lower field goal percentage of 42. The home team also excelled beyond the arc, sinking an outstanding 18 three-pointers at a remarkable rate of 51 percent compared to their opponents' respectable but lower rate of 50 percent from downtown.

Defensively, South Carolina was just as formidable. They racked up six blocks and seven steals over the course of play. Their defensive prowess limited George Washington's scoring opportunities in the paint to just 26 points while themselves contributing a solid 24 points in that key area.

On offense, South Carolina displayed superior ball movement and decision-making with their players dishing out a total of 19 assists which translated into an impressive assist-to-turnover ratio of over six. This efficient ball-handling was evident as they committed only three turnovers during the entire game.

The Gamecocks also capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring twelve points following offensive rebounds. Their rebounding effort saw them grab nine offensive boards alongside twenty-two defensive ones for a total rebound count slightly behind that of George Washington's thirty-six.

George Washington did show resilience despite being outmatched; they made eleven three-pointers and had sixteen fast break points which kept them competitive throughout parts of the game. However, their ten turnovers proved costly against South Carolina’s aggressive defense which converted those mistakes into fourteen points off turnovers.

As fans look ahead after this convincing victory by South Carolina Gamecocks, attention turns to their next challenge against Clemson Tigers at Littlejohn Coliseum on December 7th at eight PM Eastern Time.
