Stanford Cardinal Set to Battle UCLA Bruins at Pauley Pavilion

As the Stanford Cardinal prepare to face off against the UCLA Bruins at Pauley Pavilion, fans are eager to see if the team can continue their recent performance trends. The upcoming game, scheduled for February 17th, will be a testament to Stanford's resilience and adaptability.

In their last three games, the Cardinal have shown a mix of promising offense and areas needing improvement. Their most recent victory against the Arizona Wildcats showcased an impressive offensive display with an 88-point finish and a shooting accuracy of 61 percent from the field. Notably, they converted 56 percent of their three-point attempts and dominated in points in paint with 42.

However, consistency has been an issue for Stanford as evidenced by their prior game against Arizona State's Sun Devils where they fell short by four points. Despite out-rebounding their opponents with a total of 44 rebounds and maintaining a solid assist-to-turnover ratio of approximately 1.2, shooting percentages were less favorable – only making 37 percent from the field.

The game before that saw Stanford struggle on both ends of the court when visiting Colorado Buffaloes' territory. Scoring only 62 points on a modest field goal percentage of around 42 percent highlighted areas for improvement as they allowed Colorado to rack up 84 points.

Pauley Pavilion is known for its energetic atmosphere which could play into UCLA's hands; however, Stanford's ability to focus on high-percentage shots and control the paint will be crucial in this matchup.

Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ as these two teams clash in Los Angeles at Pauley Pavilion. Will Stanford rise above recent inconsistencies or will UCLA capitalize on home-court advantage? Tune in to find out!
