Maples Pavilion Showdown: Stanford Cardinal Narrowly Edged by Arizona State Sun Devils

The home team, Stanford Cardinal, displayed commendable effort throughout the match. Despite trailing by four points at the end of regulation time, they managed to accumulate a total of 65 points. The first half ended with both teams locked at 33 points each, but in the second half, the Cardinal added another 32 points to their tally. The visiting Arizona State Sun Devils managed to secure victory through effective inside play and defensive pressure resulting in eight blocks and five steals during game time. Their field goal percentage stood around forty-two percent with twenty-seven successful shots out of sixty-five attempts including ten three-pointers made from thirty-three tries giving them about thirty percent accuracy from long range.


Arizona State capitalized on their chances in paint scoring twenty-four points and grabbed an impressive thirty-nine rebounds along with fifteen second-chance points that proved crucial down stretch run towards victory over Stanford Cardinal.
