The Stanford Cardinal showcased resilience throughout the game. Despite being outrebounded by a significant margin, with only 21 rebounds compared to the Cougars' commanding total of 37, they managed to keep turnovers relatively low at twelve. Their shooting from beyond the arc was decent as they hit six out of eighteen three-point attempts for a three-point shooting percentage of thirty-three percent.

In terms of two-point field goals, Stanford made sixteen out of thirty-three attempts which translates into an effective forty-eight percent shooting rate from inside the arc. They excelled at free throws as well, sinking nine out of ten for an impressive ninety percent accuracy rate. Points in paint were another area where Stanford showed their strength; they scored twenty-eight points close to the basket.

Defensively though, there is room for improvement as they allowed thirty points in paint and nineteen second-chance points to Washington State. The Cougar's higher assist-to-turnover ratio (1.0) compared to that of Stanford (0.92) also reflected better ball movement by the home team.

The standout statistic for Stanford was their ability to capitalize on turnovers; scoring seven points off turnovers while keeping personal fouls down to fourteen and managing seven steals during playtime.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on foreign ground, fans can look forward to seeing how their team will respond when hosting Oregon Ducks at Maples Pavilion on February 22nd at 8:00 PM local time (PST).
