First Half

The first half saw both teams battling closely, with the Matadors taking an early lead. They scored 38 points compared to Stanford's 33. The Cardinal struggled initially but managed to keep pace thanks in part to Ebuka Okorie's consistent scoring and Benny Gealer’s sharp shooting from beyond the arc.

Second Half

In the second half, Stanford turned up their intensity on both ends of the court. Their defense tightened significantly, allowing only limited opportunities for Cal State Northridge. The Trees outscored their opponents by a margin of 55-42 in this period.
