First Half

The opening half saw the Golden Bears establish an early lead with a strong offensive performance. The Trees struggled to find their rhythm offensively, shooting only 33 percent from the field and managing just eight successful three-pointers out of twenty-eight attempts.

In contrast, Stanford came alive in the second half with an impressive scoring run led by key players like Ebuka Okorie and Aidan Cammann. Despite these efforts and outscoring California by eight points in this period (41-33), it wasn't enough for the Trees to close the gap completely. Their inability to capitalize on free throws proved costly as they converted only sixty-two percent from the line compared to California’s eighty-three percent accuracy.
