Syracuse Edges Past NC State in a Close Encounter at PNC Arena

In an intense conference game at PNC Arena, the Syracuse Orange demonstrated their offensive capabilities by putting up an impressive first-half performance with 55 points against North Carolina State's 40. The second half saw both teams battle hard on the court, but it was Syracuse that maintained their lead despite being outscored by one point, finishing with 32 points to NC State's 33 in the latter half.


Syracuse's shooting accuracy was key to their success; they finished with a field goal percentage of fifty-one percent and were particularly lethal from beyond the arc where they shot sixty percent. Their free throw accuracy nearly reached perfection as they made ninety-five percent of their attempts from the line. Despite facing a resilient Wolfpack side that put up eighty-three points and showcased fast-paced play yielding seventeen fast break points along with better rebounding numbers at thirty-two total rebounds (twelve offensive), Syracuse managed to hold them off for most parts of the game.
