Orange's Effort Not Enough

Despite a spirited second half where they outscored their first-half performance by 13 points, moving from 24 points in the first half to 37 in the second, it wasn't enough to close down or overcome Stanford's consistent scoring across both halves. The Orange showed resilience and an ability to fight back but faced challenges in converting opportunities into significant leads.

Eddie Lampkin stood out for Syracuse with an impressive display of efficiency on court; scoring 12 points and securing seven rebounds. His performance was highlighted by his perfect field goal percentage and free throw accuracy. Jaquan Carlos also made notable contributions with 16 points, three assists, and four rebounds, showcasing his all-around game and effectiveness on offense.
