Orange's Second-Half Surge


The Orange showcased resilience and determination as they rallied in the second half, outscoring their opponents by 4 points. This effort was highlighted by Eddie Lampkin's dominant presence on both ends of the court, leading his team with 26 points and securing 11 rebounds. J.J. Starling also made significant contributions with 22 points and a commendable assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.0, demonstrating his playmaking abilities alongside his scoring prowess.


Despite these standout performances and a remarkable free throw accuracy rate of 91 percent as a team, Syracuse struggled to contain North Carolina's offense throughout the game. The Tar Heels capitalized on their opportunities from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of 46 percent and maintained control inside with a total of 34 bench points contributing to their victory.
