Orange's Offensive Onslaught

The Syracuse Orange were relentless in their attack, with a remarkable field goal percentage of 58 percent compared to the Wolfpack's 34 percent. The home team capitalized on their opportunities inside the paint, scoring 46 points from close range and demonstrating efficiency with a two-point shooting percentage of 62 percent. Their offensive rebounds led to second-chance points that kept momentum on their side throughout the game.

Eddie Lampkin stood out for Syracuse with his double-double performance, amassing 14 points and grabbing an impressive 15 rebounds. His presence under both baskets was pivotal for Syracuse’s control over the game flow. Jyare Davis also made significant contributions with 15 points and seven rebounds, showcasing his versatility and scoring ability.

Wolfpack's Struggle

The visiting North Carolina State Wolfpack struggled to find their rhythm offensively against a stout Syracuse defense. Despite making eight three-pointers, they only shot at a rate of 30 percent from beyond the arc and had difficulty penetrating Syracuse’s defensive setup for high-percentage shots inside. Their efforts were further hampered by turnovers and limited fast-break opportunities.
