Orange's Offensive Highlights


The Syracuse Orange showcased their scoring ability throughout the game, ending regulation tied before heading into overtime. With 95 points scored over three periods, including 47 in the first half and 35 in the second half before adding 13 points in overtime, their offense was firing on all cylinders. The team demonstrated efficiency from both inside and outside the paint, shooting 54 percent from the field and converting six out of fifteen attempts from beyond the arc for a three-point percentage of 40 percent.


Eddie Lampkin stood out for Syracuse with his double-double performance by contributing 14 points and grabbing an impressive total of 12 rebounds. Jyare Davis also had a notable game scoring 21 points on an efficient shooting night where he made seventy-three percent of his shots from the field. Jaquan Carlos facilitated well for his team by dishing out nine assists alongside nine points.

Hokies' Counterattack


The Virginia Tech Hokies responded strongly to every challenge posed by Syracuse Orange. They finished with a total of one hundred one points after regulation and overtime combined, showing resilience by overcoming a thirteen-point deficit at one point during the match. Their bench contributed significantly to their victory with forty-seven bench points compared to thirty-five from Syracuse’s reserves.


Virginia Tech excelled in converting opportunities off turnovers into twenty-two points and maintained high efficiency across all shooting metrics – sixty-one percent field goal shooting including forty-two percent from three-point range.
