The game was marked by intense competition and several lead changes, reflecting both teams' determination. The TCU Horned Frogs demonstrated precision from beyond the arc, converting 80 percent of their three-point attempts into four successful shots that contributed significantly to their total score. Despite not attempting any free throws during the game, TCU's field goal percentage stood at 38 percent with eight made shots out of 21 attempts.

On defense, the Horned Frogs managed one block and two steals. They also showed discipline by committing only five personal fouls throughout the half. On offense, they distributed well with five assists but turned over possession four times.

Rebounding was another area where TCU showed effort; they pulled down a total of 13 rebounds—nine defensive and three offensive—with an additional team rebound credited to them. Their two-point shooting was less effective than their long-range efforts as they made just four out of 16 attempts for a shooting percentage of 25 percent in that category.

The Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors put up a resilient fight against TCU's advances. They achieved a higher two-point shooting percentage at approximately 42 percent and collected more total rebounds with 14—eight defensive and three offensive—alongside three team rebounds. The Rainbow Warriors were also able to convert two out of three free throw attempts for about a 67 percent success rate from the line.

Hawai'i's defense blocked more shots than TCU with two blocks but managed only one steal during playtime. They committed fewer personal fouls than their opponents but struggled more with turnovers, giving up possession six times which led to five points off turnovers for TCU.

As fans look forward to future games, attention turns toward an upcoming contest for the TCU Horned Frogs as they prepare to host Texas A&M-Commerce Lions at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth on January first at four PM Central Time (CT). This game will be available for fans to watch on ESPN+ via internet broadcast networks.
