In their last outing on December 24, 2023, against the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors, TCU's game was a defensive showcase. They managed to hold the Warriors to just 18 points in the first half while scoring 20 themselves. The statistics from that game reveal a team struggling with field goal attempts, making only 38 percent overall and failing to attempt even a single free throw. However, they excelled beyond the arc with an impressive three-point percentage of 80. This sharpshooting prowess from distance could be crucial against KSU.

The previous games also highlight areas where TCU can leverage its strengths and address its weaknesses. Against Nevada's Wolf Pack on December 22, despite falling short with a score of 68-83, TCU showed resilience in two-point field goals at an efficient rate of 54 percent and an outstanding free-throw performance at 91 percent accuracy. Yet turnovers were an issue; they gave up possession eleven times which ultimately contributed to their defeat.

The most telling performance came during their quarterfinals matchup on December 21 versus Old Dominion's Monarchs where TCU erupted for a whopping 111 points victory while allowing only 87 points against them. Their offensive firepower was on full display as they dominated inside the paint scoring half-century marks and converting fast-break opportunities into easy buckets.

While these past games have shown that TCU can light up the scoreboard when they're clicking offensively, consistency remains key if they want to secure victory over KSU. The Wildcats will not make it easy for them; as hosts at Bramlage Coliseum known for its intimidating atmosphere – it will be essential for TCU players to maintain composure under pressure.

Looking ahead towards February 17th’s contest scheduled at Bramlage Coliseum set for tip-off at noon CT (5:00 PM GMT), fans should expect an intense battle between these two teams vying for supremacy on court – one that promises strategic plays and potentially high-scoring affairs given both teams' offensive capabilities demonstrated in previous outings.

Fans won’t want to miss this showdown which will be broadcast live on ESPN Networks; it’s sure to be filled with pivotal moments that could define both teams’ seasons moving forward.
