TCU Horned Frogs Set to Defend Home Court Against Cincinnati Bearcats

As the TCU Horned Frogs gear up to host the Cincinnati Bearcats at Schollmaier Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The TCU team has been showing formidable form on their home turf, and this upcoming game is expected to be no exception.

In their last home game on February 13 against the West Virginia Mountaineers, TCU displayed an impressive offensive performance, securing an 81-65 victory. Their scoring was not only prolific but also efficient; they shot 48 percent from the field and a notable 57 percent from two-point range. The Horned Frogs capitalized on turnovers, scoring 26 points off of them and showcasing a strong defense with ten steals.

The team's ability to dominate inside was clear as they racked up 44 points in the paint compared to West Virginia's 18. This inside presence was complemented by their fast-break execution where they outscored their opponents by six points. Moreover, TCU's assist-to-turnover ratio stood at an impressive 1.82, indicating smart ball movement and decision-making.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing in recent outings for TCU. A trip away from home saw them fall short against the Iowa State Cyclones on February 10 with a score of 59-71. Despite shooting over fifty percent within two-point range and maintaining a decent assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.67, it wasn't enough to overcome Iowa State's sharpshooting which boasted a three-point percentage of forty-two.

Looking back further into their season provides even more context for TCU's potential against Cincinnati. On February 3rd at Schollmaier Arena again facing Texas Longhorns' aggressive playstyle didn't faze them as much as one would have expected; although they lost by eleven points (66-77), they managed an outstanding three-point percentage of fifty-eight.

With these performances in mind, it is evident that when playing at home, TCU has shown resilience and adaptability regardless of opponent tactics or rank status – traits that will serve them well against Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Bearcats should not be underestimated though; any lapse in concentration could prove costly for the Horned Frogs who must maintain defensive solidity while exploiting any weaknesses in CIN’s armor if they are to come out victorious once more before their fans.

Mark your calendars for February 24th at Schollmaier Arena where tip-off is set for precisely at noon local time (2:00 PM Eastern Time). Fans unable to attend can catch all the action live via ESPN+ online broadcast network – ensuring you don’t miss what promises to be another thrilling chapter in this season’s story for both teams involved.
