In a game that saw 14 ties and 17 lead changes, the TCU Horned Frogs showcased a determined effort at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. Despite falling short by two points, the team's performance was marked by aggressive playmaking and solid teamwork. The home team's statistics reflect their competitive spirit; they made 24 field goals out of 57 attempts for a field goal percentage of 42 percent. From beyond the arc, they shot at a respectable rate of 40 percent with eight three-pointers made out of 20 attempts.

The TCU Horned Frogs' free throw performance was less impressive, as they only converted on 66 percent from the line making just 21 out of their total 32 free throw attempts. They also accumulated more assists than turnovers with an assist-to-turnover ratio standing at an efficient rate of approximately two assists for every turnover committed.

On defense, however, TCU struggled to contain UCF's offense which proved to be slightly more effective on this occasion. The Knights managed to block five shots from TCU players and recorded six steals over the course of the game. Their shooting accuracy was higher across all fronts: achieving a field goal percentage close to half at around 49 percent and converting on roughly half their two-point attempts as well.

UCF also excelled in capitalizing on turnovers scoring sixteen points off turnovers compared to seventeen by TCU. Additionally, UCF had eleven fast break points which were slightly fewer than fifteen fast break points scored by TCU but still significant enough to impact the game flow.

Despite these challenges faced by TCU Horned Frogs throughout this conference game attended by over seven thousand fans (7033), individual performances stood out such as those who contributed significantly towards their total nineteen assists indicating strong collaboration among players even though it wasn't enough for victory this time around.

As fans look forward toward future games hoping for better outcomes after such closely contested matches like this one where every point mattered until clock decimal hit zero-zero without any remaining time-outs left for either side – it is clear that each upcoming contest will be eagerly anticipated especially considering how tight competition within conference can get based on results seen so far including today’s match-up between these two teams whose rivalry continues growing stronger each season passes by.
