In their last outing during the Big 12 - Second Round - Game 2, TCU showcased a robust performance against the Sooners. With an impressive 77 points finish and a seven-point lead over their opponents who scored 70 points, they demonstrated both offensive prowess and defensive solidity. The Horned Frogs excelled in several statistical categories: they had an assist-turnover ratio of 1.0, indicating efficient ball handling and distribution; they also made about half of their field goal attempts with a shooting percentage of approximately 47 percent.

Moreover, TCU's free-throw accuracy was notable at around 77 percent which could be crucial in close encounters. Their ability to convert from beyond the arc was also evident as they hit nearly 39 percent of three-point attempts. Defensively speaking, with five blocks and eleven steals against Oklahoma's eight steals and two blocks, it is clear that TCU has been able to disrupt plays effectively.

The Horned Frogs' rebounding effort matched that of their opponents with both teams grabbing thirty rebounds each; however, TCU managed to capitalize more on turnovers scoring twenty points off them compared to Oklahoma's eleven.

As we look towards the face-off with Houston Cougars at Kansas City's renowned venue – where crowd support can often act as a sixth man – it will be interesting to see how these statistics play out on neutral ground.
