In the first half, both teams displayed strong offensive capabilities. The Horned Frogs managed to score 39 points, while the Gators took a slight edge with 44 points. Jayden Pierre contributed significantly for TCU with his efficient shooting and defensive efforts. Despite trailing by five points at halftime, TCU's fast break strategy kept them within striking distance.


Second Half


The second half saw a shift in momentum as TCU capitalized on their fast break opportunities, scoring a total of 23 fast break points throughout the game. Final Moments


As time wound down in this nail-biting encounter, it was evident that turnovers would play a decisive role. The Gators struggled with ball control leading to 19 turnovers compared to just nine from TCU. This disparity allowed the Horned Frogs to capitalize on mistakes and secure critical points off turnovers.


The final minutes were intense as both teams fought hard; however, it was ultimately free throws that sealed victory for TCU who shot an impressive 73 percent from behind-the-line compared against Florida’s slightly higher percentage but fewer attempts made under pressure situations.
