First Half

The first half saw the Wildcats establish their dominance early on, leading by as much as 21 points. The Cats' offensive prowess was evident as they shot an impressive 51 percent from the field. Their ability to capitalize on fast breaks added pressure on TCU's defense, resulting in Arizona scoring 23 fast break points by halftime.

For TCU, Brock Harding stood out with his playmaking abilities but struggled to find consistent scoring opportunities against Arizona's tight defense. The Frogs managed only 27 points in this half compared to Arizona's commanding lead of 43.

Second Half

In the second half, TCU came out with renewed energy and determination. Jayden Pierre played a crucial role in orchestrating plays that allowed for more open shots and better ball movement. His efforts contributed significantly to closing the gap as he notched up key assists during this period.

Despite their improved performance and scoring surge led by Tanner Toolson’s efficient shooting—who ended up with an impressive field goal percentage—the Horned Frogs couldn't overcome their first-half deficit entirely. They did manage to outscore Arizona in this half by putting up an additional 46 points but ultimately fell short when it mattered most.

Final Analysis

Arizona’s balanced attack proved too much for TCU despite notable performances from individual players like Harding who contributed both offensively and defensively throughout all quarters of playtime; however turnovers were costly for them overall which hindered any chance at mounting successful comebacks late into proceedings here today!
