Pirates Plunder Owls' Nest in Fierce Encounter at Liacouras Center

In a closely contested conference game, the Temple Owls faced off against the East Carolina Pirates at the Liacouras Center. The Pirates emerged victorious with a final score of 73-62, improving their season record while the Owls fell to another defeat. East Carolina's success can be attributed partly to their superior shooting accuracy across all fronts: fifty-four percent from field goals overall and an outstanding ninety-one percent from free throws line compared to seventy-nine percent for Temple. Additionally, they were able to convert eighteen out of twenty-nine two-point attempts (sixty-two percent) while also making nine three-pointers at forty-three percent accuracy.
