The Tennessee Volunteers struggled with their shooting throughout the game, converting only 27 percent of their field goal attempts and making just five out of twenty-five three-point shots for a lowly 20 percent conversion rate. Despite these challenges, they excelled at free throw shooting with an impressive 92 percent accuracy but only had twelve attempts from the line. The team's defense managed to block two shots and steal six times from their opponents.

On offense, the Tennessee Volunteers were able to score twenty-two points in the paint and capitalized on turnovers by adding five more points to their tally. Their effort on rebounds was notable as they collected forty-three in total; fourteen offensive and twenty-five defensive rebounds contributed significantly to giving them additional scoring opportunities through sixteen second-chance points.

The Florida Gators showcased a more efficient performance with fifty percent shooting from two-point range and thirty-five percent from beyond the arc. They also took advantage of fast break opportunities by scoring ten fast break points. With twelve assists leading to scores compared to seven by Tennessee, they demonstrated better ball movement which was reflected in their higher assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.2.

Defensively, Florida made it difficult for Tennessee shooters by blocking seven attempts while committing fewer personal fouls than their counterparts with eleven compared to twenty by Tennessee. This disciplined approach allowed them fewer turnovers and maximized scoring chances which ultimately led them towards victory.

Looking ahead for the Volunteers fans, there is an upcoming game scheduled against Auburn Tigers at Thompson-Boling Arena on February 4th at 7 PM Eastern Time that will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN channel number two hundred six. This encounter promises another opportunity for fans to support their team as they continue through this season's campaign.
