The Volunteers demonstrated a strong offensive performance throughout the game. They shot an efficient 49 percent from the field and were particularly effective from beyond the arc, hitting nine three-pointers at a 41 percent clip. Inside scoring was also a key factor for Tennessee as they racked up 32 points in the paint.

Defensively, Tennessee was just as formidable. They outrebounded Vanderbilt by grabbing 38 rebounds to their opponent's 31 and blocked five shots over the course of play. The defensive pressure applied by Tennessee led to three steals and contributed to seven turnovers by Vanderbilt.

A standout aspect of Tennessee's gameplay was their ability to capitalize on second-chance opportunities; they scored an impressive 22 second-chance points compared to only six by Vanderbilt. Additionally, when it came to fast-break situations, both teams were nearly even with Tennessee scoring eight fast-break points against Vanderbilt's nine.

The free throw line saw varying success for both teams; while Tennessee made only 64 percent of their free throws on twenty-two attempts, it did not significantly impact their lead due to other aspects of their solid performance.

One area where both teams showed parity was in turnovers; each team turned over the ball seven times during play. However, it is worth noting that Tennessee managed better ball distribution with fourteen assists leading to an assist-to-turnover ratio of two compared to Vanderbilt's eight assists and ratio of approximately one point three-three.

As for individual performances from players on both sides remained undisclosed but undoubtedly contributed significantly towards these statistics and overall flow of the game which featured seven ties and five lead changes indicating competitive nature despite final outcome favoring visitors.

Looking ahead for fans eager for more action from The University of Tennessee basketball team: Their next matchup will be against South Carolina Gamecocks at Thompson-Boling Arena located in Knoxville TN on January thirty-first at six-thirty PM Eastern Time (ET).
