In their recent Sweet 16 game against Creighton's Bluejays, Tennessee demonstrated a balanced attack with an 82-75 victory. Their offensive prowess was evident as they shot 42 percent from the field and an impressive 46 percent from beyond the arc. Defensively, they were just as formidable, recording five blocks and five steals while winning the rebound battle with a total of 36 boards.

The Volunteers' performance against Texas Longhorns further solidified their status as contenders. Despite shooting only 34 percent from the field in that game, they managed to secure a win by capitalizing on turnovers and making critical free throws at an 83 percent clip.

Against Saint Peter's Peacocks in the first round of Midwest Regional play, Tennessee showcased its efficiency by shooting over half of its attempts successfully from both two-point range (55 percent) and three-point range (46 percent). They also outrebounded Saint Peter's significantly with a total of 47 rebounds.

Heading into Detroit, it is clear that Tennessee has been relying on a strong defense that turns into offense quickly. Their ability to generate points off turnovers has been crucial throughout these games. However, it will be essential for them to maintain their high free throw percentage and continue dominating on the glass if they wish to advance further.

Fans can catch all the action live from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit this coming Sunday at 2:20 PM Eastern Time. The game will be broadcasted nationally on CBS – don't miss what is sure to be another exciting chapter in Tennessee Volunteers basketball history!
