The home team, Texas A&M Aggies, showcased a robust offensive and defensive performance against the visiting Lions. The Aggies' field goal percentage stood at 47 percent as they made 28 out of 60 attempts. Their prowess from beyond the arc was notable as well; they sank 11 three-pointers at a solid rate of 39 percent. From two-point range, they were even more efficient, hitting over half their shots with a success rate of 53 percent.

On defense, the Aggies collected more rebounds than their opponents by a significant margin—47 compared to just 25 for the Lions. This included pulling down an impressive number of defensive rebounds totaling to 30 which helped limit second-chance points for the opposition. Additionally, Texas A&M recorded three blocks and six steals during the game.

The team's passing game was also on point as evidenced by their high assist count; they racked up an impressive total of 21 assists which speaks volumes about their teamwork and ball movement throughout this matchup. Despite turning over the ball on eleven occasions themselves, they managed to maintain an assist-to-turnover ratio above one (1.91), indicating careful handling and distribution overall.

The visiting Lions struggled offensively throughout most of this encounter. They only managed to make four out of twenty-eight three-point attempts resulting in a lowly shooting percentage from deep (14 percent). From inside the arc wasn't much better for them either; despite making half their two-point shots (46 percent), it wasn't enough to keep pace with Texas A&M's scoring efficiency.

Defensively speaking for Texas A&M-Commerce Lions had nine steals but could not capitalize effectively on these opportunities as reflected in only managing fourteen points off turnovers compared to six by The Aggies.
