The Texas A&M Aggies showcased their defensive skills by accumulating three blocks and stealing the ball eleven times. Their offense was equally effective, with ten assists contributing to their total score. The team's effort on rebounds was notable as they secured a total of 42 rebounds, with 27 being defensive and an additional 14 offensive rebounds which helped maintain possession and create scoring opportunities.

The Aggies' shooting accuracy from two-point range was solid at fifty percent, making twenty out of forty attempts. However, their performance from beyond the arc was less efficient with only six out of twenty-four three-point attempts finding the net – rounding to twenty-five percent success rate. Free throw shooting also proved challenging for Texas A&M as they made fifteen out of twenty-five attempts, resulting in a sixty percent free throw percentage.

Offensively, Texas A&M capitalized on turnovers by scoring nineteen points off them and added eighteen fast break points to keep up the pace against their opponents. They also managed to add sixteen second-chance points thanks to their offensive rebounding efforts.

On the other side, despite falling short in this matchup, Iowa State Cyclones put up a strong fight throughout both halves. They ended up with two blocks and nine steals defensively while distributing fourteen assists on offense. The Cyclones were slightly more accurate than their opponents in free throws making eighteen out of twenty-seven for sixty-seven percent but struggled from both field goal range (thirty-four percent) and three-point distance (twenty-six percent).

Iowa State did manage to edge out Texas A&M slightly in total rebounds with forty-four but had more turnovers at sixteen compared to thirteen by Texas A&M which ultimately impacted their chance for victory.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought win for Texas A&M Aggies fans can mark their calendars for another exciting game scheduled against Virginia Cavaliers at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville on November 30th at 7:15 PM Eastern Time.
