In their last game on December 23 against Houston Christian's Huskies, TXAM showcased an impressive offensive display, securing a comfortable 79-52 victory. Their scoring was consistent across both halves, and they demonstrated a remarkable ability to convert opportunities into points with a free throw percentage of 74 percent. Moreover, their defensive prowess was evident as they racked up eight steals and capitalized on turnovers with 25 points scored off them.

The Aggies' rebounding was particularly noteworthy in that game; they outrebounded the Huskies by an astonishing margin with 49 total rebounds—22 of which were offensive. This tenacity on the boards led to an additional 20 second-chance points.

However, it wasn't just one game that highlighted TXAM's strengths. On December 16 against fourth-ranked Houston Cougars in a neutral setting at Toyota Center, despite falling short by four points (66-70), TXAM showed resilience by nearly erasing a halftime deficit thanks to a strong second-half performance where they scored 43 points.

Against Memphis Tigers on December 10 at Reed Arena, although suffering another narrow loss (75-81), Texas A&M displayed aggressive defense with thirteen steals leading to sixteen points from turnovers. Their two-point shooting was efficient at a rate of 61 percent indicating proficiency in close-range shots.

Looking ahead to their encounter with ALA, it is crucial for TXAM to maintain this level of intensity and focus on converting defensive plays into scoring opportunities while continuing their dominance in rebounding battles.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will undoubtedly provide stiff competition; however, if recent form is any indicator, Texas A&M has shown that they have both the firepower and strategic acumen needed for such challenges.

Fans eager for action should mark their calendars for February 17 when these two teams lock horns at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa. The game is scheduled for noon local time and will be broadcasted live on ESPN Networks – an opportunity not to be missed by any supporter looking forward to witnessing whether TXAM can rise above expectations once again.
