Can the Aggies Overcome Rebels at The Pavilion?

As the Texas A&M Aggies prepare to face off against the Ole Miss Rebels, fans are left wondering if their team can bounce back from a string of challenging games. The upcoming clash scheduled for March 9th at The Pavilion at Ole Miss will be a true test of resilience for the Aggies.

In their last game on February 25th against the Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M struggled to find their rhythm, falling with a score of 51 to 86. Their field goal percentage was just 27 percent and they made only 21 percent of their three-point attempts. Despite grabbing 33 rebounds and making eight steals, these efforts were overshadowed by personal fouls totaling up to seventeen and ten turnovers.

The previous home game on February 21st saw a closer contest when Arkansas Razorbacks visited Reed Arena. Although they lost with a score of 71 to 78, there were signs of improvement as they managed to increase their field goal percentage slightly to 33 percent and free throw percentage to an improved but still lacking figure of around two-thirds successful shots. They fought hard under the basket securing an impressive number of offensive rebounds (19), which could be key in overcoming Ole Miss if replicated.

However, it's not all doom and gloom for TXAM; there is potential that can be harnessed from earlier performances like in their game against Alabama Crimson Tide on February 17th where they scored more effectively inside with points in paint totaling up to an impressive figure over forty despite ultimately losing with a high-scoring total on both sides (75-100). This shows that when TXAM focuses on driving towards the basket rather than relying solely on perimeter shooting, which has been lackluster recently, they have better chances at scoring efficiently.

The Rebels will certainly pose challenges; however, focusing on strong defense while capitalizing on opportunities under the rim could shift momentum in favor of TXAM. It's crucial that Texas A&M comes into this game learning from past mistakes – reducing turnovers and fouls while improving shot selection are non-negotiables if they wish for victory.

Fans eager to support Texas A&M Aggies can catch them live as they take on Ole Miss Rebels at The Pavilion at Ole Miss this coming Saturday afternoon at exactly one o'clock Central Time. CBS will broadcast what promises to be an enthralling encounter between these two teams vying for supremacy.
