In their last game against the Islanders, Texas secured a comfortable victory with 71 points to 55. Their shooting was efficient from both inside and beyond the arc, hitting 56 percent of two-point attempts and a solid 33 percent from three-point range. The team also excelled defensively with seven blocks and six steals while dominating on rebounds with a total of 40.

The game prior saw an even more dominant performance as they outscored LSU Tigers by eleven points, finishing at 96-85. Their field goal percentage was remarkable at 54 percent overall, coupled with an outstanding free-throw accuracy of 88 percent. Assists were plentiful too; they dished out twenty-one assists which speaks volumes about their teamwork and ball distribution.

Against Houston Christian Huskies earlier in December, Texas displayed tenacity on defense once again with thirteen steals contributing to a final scoreline of 77-50 in favor of the Longhorns. They maintained high shooting percentages across the board and capitalized on fast-break opportunities leading to twenty-one fast-break points.

The upcoming match promises to be thrilling as Texas looks forward to extending its winning momentum while playing away from home. The Marriott Center is known for its vibrant atmosphere which could pose challenges; however, based on recent performances, it seems that Texas has found a rhythm that could help them overcome any venue-related obstacles.

Fans can catch this exciting encounter scheduled for January 27th at 7 PM ET broadcasted live on ESPN Networks.
