Red Raiders Set to Cyclone Through Ames at James H. Hilton Coliseum

As the Texas Tech Red Raiders prepare to face off against the Iowa State Cyclones at the James H. Hilton Coliseum, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a thrilling encounter on February 17th. The Red Raiders, coming off a string of impressive performances, are poised to continue their winning streak and demonstrate why they're a force to be reckoned with in college basketball.

In their last game on December 21st against the Mavericks, TTU showcased an offensive masterclass, putting up 77 points and outshining their opponents in nearly every statistical category. With an assist turnover ratio of 1.0 and shooting over 50 percent from inside the arc while maintaining an impressive 85 percent from the free-throw line, TTU's balanced attack was too much for Texas-Arlington.

The Red Raiders' defense also stood tall that night, limiting second-chance points and converting turnovers into critical points offensively. This level of performance has become a hallmark for TTU this season and is likely to carry over into their upcoming game against ISU.

Iowa State should not be underestimated though; playing at home always provides an edge due to familiar surroundings and fan support. However, given TTU's recent form which includes dominating Vanderbilt with a staggering 56 percent three-point shooting percentage on December 17th and overcoming Oral Roberts by securing massive rebounds (48 total) on December 13th – it's clear that Texas Tech has both the firepower and tenacity needed for victory.

The Cyclones will need more than just home-court advantage if they wish to disrupt TTU's rhythm – they'll need exceptional execution on both ends of the court. But considering how Texas Tech has been performing lately – particularly in clutch situations – it seems like another win might just be in store for them.

Fans eager to catch this exciting matchup can tune in via ESPN+ at exactly 5:00 PM local time from Ames, IA where these two teams will battle it out on February 17th. Will Texas Tech ride their momentum all the way through Iowa State? Only time will tell but one thing is certain: The Red Raiders are not showing any signs of slowing down as they march forward this season.
