The Red Raiders come off a string of impressive performances that have showcased their dominance on the court. In their last game on March 9th against Baylor Bears, TTU emerged victorious with a score of 78-68. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 49 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 57 percent from inside the arc. The team also displayed commendable defensive prowess by grabbing 40 rebounds and making critical plays that led to scoring 14 points off turnovers.

TTU's ability to distribute the ball effectively was evident as they racked up 15 assists while maintaining an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.36. This kind of teamwork will be crucial when facing BYU's defense.

Looking back further into TTU's season, we see a pattern of strong offensive outings combined with tenacious defense. On March 6th against Oklahoma State Cowboys, TTU not only scored freely but also put up a defensive masterclass by forcing turnovers and converting them into points – they scored an astonishing 21 points off turnovers that game.

Their three-point shooting has been another weapon in their arsenal; during their matchup on March 2nd against West Virginia Mountaineers, TTU shot an exceptional 42 percent from beyond the arc. This long-range threat could prove pivotal against BYU if they can maintain such high percentages.

The Cougars should not be underestimated though; they bring their own strengths to this contest which could pose challenges for TTU. However, given recent performances and statistics – including higher field goal percentages and better rebounding numbers – it seems likely that Texas Tech will control both ends of the floor once again.

Fans should expect nothing less than full-throttle intensity from start to finish as these two teams vie for victory on March 14th at T-Mobile Center at Kansas City at precisely half-past eleven in the morning local time (11:30 AM). With ESPN2 broadcasting live coverage of this exciting matchup, supporters won't miss a moment of what is sure to be another memorable chapter in Texas Tech Red Raiders' storied basketball history.
