Strategic Execution

Texas Tech capitalized on second-chance opportunities by outrebounding Arizona with a total rebound count of 50 compared to Arizona’s 34. This included grabbing thirteen offensive boards which contributed significantly towards fifteen second-chance points for Texas Tech.

Moreover, Texas Tech displayed superior ball movement resulting in fourteen assists which facilitated easier scoring opportunities against a tough Arizona defense that managed only eight assists throughout the game.

Arizona attempted to counteract with fast break points where they edged out ten against Texas Tech’s three but ultimately couldn’t overcome their shooting woes or match up against Texas Tech’s dynamic offensive plays.
