First Half


The first half was a showcase of offensive prowess by the Red Raiders, who surged ahead with an impressive 59 points. Christian Anderson led the charge with his sharp shooting and playmaking abilities, contributing significantly to Texas Tech's early lead. The team demonstrated remarkable efficiency from beyond the arc, hitting 38 percent of their three-point attempts.


Second Half


In contrast to their explosive start, Texas Tech slowed down in the second half but maintained control over the game. Jaylen Petty continued his strong performance from previous games by adding crucial points and maintaining defensive pressure on Winthrop's key players. Despite scoring only 28 points in this period, Texas Tech's defense held firm against any potential comeback from Winthrop.

Winthrop Eagles' Struggles


The Eagles struggled throughout both halves to find rhythm against a relentless Texas Tech defense that forced numerous turnovers and limited scoring opportunities. With only four successful three-pointers out of twenty-five attempts, Winthrop found it difficult to close the gap created by their opponents' early lead.
