First Half

The first half saw both teams battling for dominance, with neither side able to establish a significant lead. The Red Raiders managed to secure an early advantage, leading by as much as 10 points at one stage. However, their shooting accuracy was not up to par, hitting only 32 percent of their field goals and just over one-third of their two-point attempts. Despite this struggle from the floor, LeJuan Watts stood out for Texas Tech with his all-around performance contributing significantly on both ends.

Second Half

As play resumed in the second half, Kansas began closing in on Texas Tech's lead through efficient scoring and strategic ball movement. The Hawks capitalized on fast breaks and second-chance opportunities that kept them within striking distance throughout this period. Jazz Henderson provided some spark off-the-bench for TTU but it wasn't enough as KU’s defense tightened its grip.

Final Moments

In what became a nail-biting finish during those last few possessions; turnovers proved costly for TTU allowing KU’s offense multiple chances which they converted into crucial points down-the-stretch sealing their win over TTU by three points margin - marking another chapter added into storied rivalry between these two programs!
