From tip-off to final buzzer, the home team showcased their dominance on both ends of the floor at Devlin Fieldhouse. The first half set the tone for what was to come as Tulane put up an impressive 47 points compared to Dillard's 25. Maintaining their momentum, they matched their first-half performance by adding another 47 points in the second half, while Dillard managed to increase their output slightly with 39 points.

Tulane’s offensive execution was clinical; they shot an efficient 44 percent from field goal range and were even more impressive from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of 38 percent. Their prowess continued at the free-throw line where they capitalized on opportunities and scored at a remarkable rate of 77 percent.

Defensively, Tulane outperformed Dillard as well; they amassed nine blocks and nine steals over four quarters of play. This defensive pressure contributed significantly to scoring opportunities through fast breaks where Tulane accumulated an impressive total of 28 fast break points.

The Green Wave also demonstrated superior ball movement which resulted in them dishing out a total of 24 assists throughout the game – indicative of their cohesive team play and unselfishness on offense. They also took care of possession better than their opponents, turning over the ball only nine times compared to Dillard's fifteen turnovers.

Rebounding was another area where Tulane excelled; they grabbed a total of forty-eight rebounds – five more than Dillard’s forty-three – which included eight offensive boards that led directly to nine second-chance points.

Key individual performances included standout contributions from players who capitalized on turnovers by converting them into sixteen crucial points for Tulane. This aspect was pivotal in maintaining control throughout each quarter and never allowing any significant runs from Dillard that could have shifted momentum.

Looking ahead for fans eager to support their team: The next challenge for Tulane will be against Rice Owls at Devlin Fieldhouse located in New Orleans, Louisiana (zip code:70118).
