The game was a showcase of offensive talent, with both teams demonstrating remarkable scoring abilities. The home team, Tulane Green Wave, exhibited precision from two-point range with an impressive 55 percent shooting accuracy. They also made their presence felt beyond the arc, sinking 10 out of 22 attempts for a solid three-point completion rate of 46 percent. Despite these efforts and leading in points off turnovers by a margin of three points over their opponents, they fell just short on the scoreboard.

Tulane's defense was active throughout the game as evidenced by their seven steals and four blocks. However, it wasn't enough to stifle Florida Atlantic's offense which managed to put up strong numbers including a notable performance from three-point territory where they hit 14 shots at a rate of 38 percent.

A critical aspect that may have tipped scales in favor of Florida Atlantic was their ability to capitalize on second-chance opportunities; they scored an impressive total of 22 second-chance points compared to Tulane's four. Additionally, despite committing two more turnovers than Tulane with a total count of twelve for each side respectively when considering player and team turnovers combined - Florida Atlantic had better control over ball possession which is reflected in their higher assists turnover ratio (1.75).

The rebounding battle also favored Florida Atlantic who grabbed a total of forty-two rebounds against thirty-three by Tulane; fifteen offensive boards contributed significantly towards this disparity between both teams' performances on glass.
