The Green Wave's performance was marked by resilience and strategic play throughout the match. After trailing at halftime with 37 points against Tulsa's 44, they rallied back in the second half to add another 41 points to their tally. The determination of Tulane was evident as they forced the game into overtime, where they dominated with an additional 16 points compared to Tulsa's nine.

Tulane showcased a balanced offensive effort with significant contributions across the board. Their field goal percentage stood at a solid 46 percent after making 31 out of their total 67 attempts. From beyond the arc, they managed an effective rate of about one-third success, sinking eight out of twenty-two three-point attempts. At close range, two-point shots were falling at just over half success rate for Tulane; they made twenty-three out of forty-five attempts.

Free throws were another area where Tulane excelled; converting them at an impressive rate of eighty-three percent which amounted to twenty-four successful free throws from twenty-nine attempts. This proficiency from the line proved crucial in securing their lead during crunch time.

Defensively, Tulane managed seven steals and blocked one shot while also collecting thirty-nine personal rebounds – thirty-three defensive and six offensive ones – contributing significantly to limiting second-chance opportunities for Tulsa.

The team’s fast break execution was particularly noteworthy as well; eighteen fast break points underscored their ability to capitalize on turnovers efficiently. Speaking of turnovers, despite committing thirteen themselves, they scored nine points off turnovers caused by Tulsa’s twelve mistakes.

The only block recorded by Tulane came alongside nineteen personal fouls which did result in one player being fouled out but didn't significantly hinder their overall performance on court.

Looking ahead for fans eager to follow more action from The Green Wave: Their next challenge will be against UAB Blazers at Bartow Arena located in Birmingham (AL), USA on January seventeenth scheduled for seven PM Central Time Zone broadcasted via ESPN+ network online platform.
